Blazon

Suspended from a neck ribbon Or Vert and Or, on a mullet of six points Argent embellished Or the Arms of the Province of Saskatchewan proper encircled by an annulus Gules edged, inscribed MULTIS E GENTIBUS VIRES, meaning “From many peoples, strength”, and ensigned by the Royal Crown Or its cap Gules;

Symbolism

The insignia of the Saskatchewan Order of Merit includes a silver and enamel medal representing a stylized western red lily (the provincial floral emblem), bearing the Crown and Shield of Arms of the province, and suspended from a ribbon of green and gold — the official colours of the province.

Suspended by the letter “V” from a ribbon Vert Or and Vert, on a silver medal the Arms of the Province of Saskatchewan with the garbs and chief Argent in place of Or surmounting a scroll and ensigned by the Royal Crown Argent its cap Gules and surrounded above by the words NOS IPSOS DEDIMUS, meaning “We gave of ourselves”, and below by the word SASKATCHEWAN;

Symbolism

The Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal has been designed by Jack Glasser of Regina, winner of a provincial competition. It is silver, circular in form, and suspended by a V-shaped clasp from a ribbon of green and gold, the provincial colours.

Suspended from a ribbon Or set near the edges with two pallets Vert, on a bronze medal three western red lilies ensigned by the Royal Crown and placed above a scroll bearing the Motto MULTIS E GENTIBUS VIRES, meaning “From many peoples, strength”, all encircled above by the word SASKATCHEWAN and below by the dates 1905-2005;

Symbolism

The Commemorative Medal for the Centennial of Saskatchewan displays the provincial motto under a wreath of western red lilies, the provincial flower.
