Royal Canadian Air Force Ball

Governor General Mary Simon delivered remarks at the Royal Canadian Air Force Ball, celebrating their 100th anniversary. At the event, she awarded a King Charles III Coronation Medal to General Richard Rohmer for his lifetime of dedication and commitment to Canada.

As commander-in-chief, the Governor General holds an important role in recognizing the Canadian military’s essential contributions to our country, and in honouring the accomplishments of Canadian Armed Forces members.
