Governor General Mary Simon receives military honours from the Royal 22e Régiment

As commander-in-chief, Governor General Mary Simon received military honours from the Royal 22e Régiment at the Citadelle. She inspected a guard of honour and there was a 21-gun salute.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, was proud to receive military honours from the Royal 22e Régiment at the Citadelle of Québec. During her visit she inspected the honour guard and inducted Bouc Batisse XII, their newest mascot.
