Governor General to join Winter Celebration at Rideau Hall

OTTAWA, Ontario—Members of the media are invited to Rideau Hall to cover this year’s public Winter Celebration.

As part of this frosty fun-filled afternoon of family activities, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will conduct a walkabout on the Rideau Hall grounds between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to meet visitors and take in the outdoor activities and performances.

Date: Saturday, February 1, 2025
Time: from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Rideau Hall Grounds

Notes for media:

  • The Governor General will conduct a walkabout between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
