Message from the Governor General on the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force

As commander-in-chief, I have had the great pleasure of meeting with members of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and of witnessing their professionalism, dedication and sense of duty first-hand. From wartime efforts and search and rescue, to community support initiatives, the RCAF has consistently served Canadians with loyalty, integrity, courage and excellence.

I would like to congratulate the members of the RCAF, past and present, who are marking its 100th anniversary today. Thank you for everything you do on behalf of our country.
