Visit to the Ottawa Mission

Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary May Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Fraser visited the Ottawa Mission where they learned about the shelter’s programs and services and served meals to some of the most vulnerable members of the community. 

“The Ottawa Mission, and similar community organizations across the country, are vital for in supporting our most vulnerable.

They provide essential services to those who have been especially affected during the pandemic, offering mental health support, medical care, emergency shelter, and of course meals.

Thank you to all those who make this happen on a daily basis, and help shape a positive future for their communities. “
