OTTAWA, Ontario —Trick-or-treaters and their families are invited to experience Rideau HALLoween at our Terrifying Tea Party, October 31.

Enchanting, elegant and eerie, Rideau HALLoween’s Terrifying Tea Party offers a thrilling twist on our annual trick-or-treating tradition.

Under our naturally spooky canopy of trees, our Terrifying Tea Party tableau offers visitors the chance to strike a ghostly pose or make funny faces. There will be candy for trick-or-treaters, plus Halloween-themed activities presented by Rideau Hall and Billings Estate National Historic Site.

Expect treats, tricks and plenty of Halloween thrills!

When: Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Thomas Gate, 1 Sussex Drive (outside the Visitor Centre)
Parking: Street parking is available in the neighbourhood
