Governor General to give out candy at Rideau HALLoween

OTTAWA, Ontario—Attention all brave explorers, whimsical spirits and curious souls! Members of the media are invited to Rideau Hall to join in the chills and thrills of Rideau HALLoween.

As part of this long-awaited celebration, Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Whit Fraser will join Rideau Hall staff in distributing goodies to trick-or-treaters of all ages.

There will be a photo opportunity with the Governor General between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Date: Thursday, October 31, 2024
Time: From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: Thomas Gate, 1 Sussex Drive (outside the Visitor Centre)
