OTTAWA—It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Bombardier Patrick Labrie during an exercise in Cheshnegirovo, Bulgaria.

Bombardier Labrie was a proud member of the 2nd Regiment of the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, based out of Petatawa, Ontario. His death is a painful loss to many, but his service to his country will never be forgotten.

Please join me in offering our deepest condolences to Bombardier Labrie’s family and loved ones as well as his colleagues in the Canadian Armed Forces and NATO allied forces.
