For the past 30 years, Judy Dickson has volunteered in the communities of Yahk and the Kingsgate area, organizing fundraising events for cultural initiatives, health projects and seniors' needs. When government-provided home support was not available in her area, she helped frail and at-risk senior residents who lived alone.
