John and Eleanor Anderson have volunteered their services to their community throughout their lifetimes. They were very active in their church for many years and assisted with hospital chapel services, driving some fifteen miles to Dauphin to help patients with disabilities to attend weekly services at the Dauphin Hospital or the Personal Care Home. In addition to their volunteer contributions to a number of community organizations, they volunteered in the RCMP community office each week, and Eleanor was founding President of the Dauphin Branch of the Manitoba Genealogical Society.
