A nurse with the VON, Mrs. Brenda White has, for the past twenty years, gone beyond her normal duties to selflessly care for the members of her community in many ways. She spends extra hours visiting and comforting people who are ill, and willingly responds to any health emergency, day or night. She volunteers to raise funds for the VON, to help people with overeating problems, and to counsel troubled teens and their parents. In addition to participating in almost every aspect of her community, Mrs. White is active in her church as a scripture reader, sacramental minister and volunteer.
