Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

For over 20 years, William Croxford has volunteered countless hours with Woodstock & District's Big Brothers Association, acting as executive chair for three terms and serving currently as president. He participates actively on fundraising and recruitment committees and is equally at ease running a bingo or leading a discussion on the organization's strategic plan. He has also served St. Rita's Parish since 1965 as a bereavement reader and advisory board chair, and has been an industrious member of the Knights of Columbus since 1978. Mr. Croxford has expended considerable time and energy toward the betterment of his community.
