Following a successful career in the Canadian Armed Forces, David Wells became deeply involved in his community, supporting veterans through the Royal Canadian Legion and serving on executive committees. He has advocated for greater recognition of the Mi’kmaq community of Newfoundland and Labrador by conducting research and engaging in educational and genealogical activities.
