Since 2011, Sharon Strettan has volunteered weekly as a visitor services counsellor at the Christina Lake Welcome Centre, where she answers questions and provides information to the public on tourism in British Columbia. She has also served at the Grand Forks Boundary Food Bank over the past 15 years, packing food hampers for those in need.
