Since 2003, Dr. Devendra Mishra has contributed to the Indian community in Markham and to broader society in Canada by supporting multiculturalism and women’s empowerment. He also speaks out against domestic and elderly abuse as a member of the City of Markham’s Seniors Advisory Committee and as a columnist with the Hindi Times.
