Through the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton, Fadhl Abu-Ghanem mentors youth by using his personal experiences to connect and inspire them. He dedicates his free time to advocacy and empowerment, as well as to recruiting others to do the same through the Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers and the Safety Summit Committee.
