Retired worker in the lumber industry of British Columbia. For his thirty-five years of service as Commissioner, and latterly as Chairman, of the North Fraser Harbour Commission. He has enjoyed the respect of his colleagues, the industrial and shipping community and successive federal ministers of Transport.
