This self-taught painter is a legendary figure in Eastern Quebec. His paintings, which often depict the beauty and grandeur of his region, enrich our museums and various private collections, and illustrate books and the covers of works by Quebec authors. In addition, through teaching, cultural activities, workshops on painting and drawing and the many lectures he gives, he is increasing the public's awareness of artistic issues. He is also an adviser and mentor, and helps promote the work of young artists.
