A respected member of the International Joint Commission and former Deputy Premier of Ontario, he served in twelve provincial Cabinet portfolios for more than twenty-five years. All of his endeavours, whether civic or business, have emphasized the public interest and he has continued to live according to that principle in his current roles as senior counsel to a law firm and as Chancellor of Brock University.
