A community activist who has made a difference in the lives of countless individuals, she has enriched and enlivened her Vancouver community through her compassion and tireless determination. Over the years she raised fourteen foster children, yet found time to be involved in a host of volunteer activities. A long-time advocate for senior citizens, she founded Marpole Seniors' Services, an organization that has given seniors access to a wide range of services.
