This Ontario philanthropist and educator has contributed greatly in the areas of education, ethics and the arts. Founder of the Centre for Canadian Studies at Mount Allison University, to which he recently donated a library of rare Canadiana, he also established The Davidson Fund for the students and faculty of Carleton University's religion department and the Crabtree Foundation, one of the larger philanthropic foundations in Canada.
