She displays an exceptional sense of caring and dedication. She began by helping Haitians arriving in Quebec, then translated into action a desire to increase her humanitarian involvement in her native country. It all began with a little school that grew into a major project offering hope and work. This project includes a multi-purpose educational complex, a credit union, a corn mill, and ten bush schools that she visits regularly. To transform her dream into reality, this tireless and determined woman secured the co-operation of various Canadian and international humanitarian organizations. Driven by an unwavering faith in human potential, she intends to embark on many more projects.
