Yosef Wosk is a Renaissance man of the 21st century. A poet, explorer and avid art collector, he is also a dedicated philanthropist and generous benefactor to museums, arts communities and libraries around the world. A celebrated educator and intellectual, he is the former director of interdisciplinary programs in Continuing Studies at Simon Fraser University, and the founder of the Philosophers’ Café dialogue series and the Canadian Academy of Independent Scholars. He is also a rabbi and community activist, and has inspired many to become engaged in global issues and local challenges.
