James Temerty is an innovative business leader who has made significant contributions to Canadian cultural life. In addition to founding and heading an energy company that operates thermal, electric and wind power production facilities, he serves as chair of the board of governors at the Royal Ontario Museum, where his leadership has helped transform the institution and build a strong foundation for its future success. He also supports the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Hnatyshyn Foundation, which provides grants to young and emerging artists. As founding chair of the Kyiv Mohyla Business School and a benefactor of the Children's Hospital of the Future in Kyiv, he works to strengthen ties between Ukraine and Canada.
