"Sid" Williams has lent his presence to a host of civic functions, club gatherings and high school graduation exercises, and has been involved in behind-the-scenes activity for virtually every amateur theatrical production in the Comox Valley for over sixty years. Involved in many other community endeavours, he is a former alderman of the City of Courtenay, school trustee and first president of the Courtenay Recreational Association.
