Mark Wafer has tackled the issue of high unemployment rates among disabled Canadians head-on. Since opening the first of seven Tim Hortons stores, he has employed over 150 Canadians with disabilities in both management and customer service positions. His business model has proven fruitful in helping both his community and his bottom line. He now encourages other businesses to implement the same practices and to tap into this incredible talent pool.
