The keys symbolize financial management, Mr. Strizic’s profession, and the mortars and pestles refer to Mr. Strizic’s great-grandfather, Julije Domac (1853-1928), a leading figure in pharmacology in Croatia. It also alludes to Mr. Strizic’s parents, who were both chemical engineers, and also specifically to his mother, who also used a mortar and pestle as a cook and baker. |
