Arms of Sean Robert MaciborskiBlazonArgent four hammers in saltire their heads to the centre Azure all between five poppies Gules seeded Sable; SymbolismRed, white and blue are found on the flag of Norway, the homeland of Mr. Maciborski’s maternal ancestors. The hammer, a symbol associated with strength and protection, recalls the attribute of the Norse god Thor. It appears on a seal and a sword belonging to the family, as well as a tattoo worn by Mr. Maciborski. The hammers surround and enclose a series of poppies, representing Mr. Maciborski’s ability to protect and serve his family and his community as a father, past mayor and councilman. Wild poppies, which symbolize regeneration of the land and the sense of continuity, grow naturally on his property. |
