Arms of Blake William PrinceBlazonGules on a pile throughout Argent enfiling a coronet of quatrefoils Or, four piles throughout Azure; SymbolismRed and white are the colours of Canada, referring to Mr. Prince’s nationality, while red, white and blue are the colours of the Royal Union flag, referring to his British ancestry. The coronet is a reference to his surname and the quatrefoils, or four-leafed shapes, allude to shamrocks and thus honour his wife’s Irish background. The four blue shapes honour the members of Mr. Prince’s family, bound together by the Prince surname. With the white triangle, they also suggest parachute suspension lines; a reference to Mr. Prince’s training as a paratrooper. |
