Raymonde Côté's life is a record of countless years of community work, including service as founding president of the local volunteer centre, chairperson of the restaurant and catering committee of the Petite-Vallée Festival de la parenté, parish churchwarden and founding member of the Petite-Vallée seniors' club. She has also been involved for many years with the municipal corporation, the caisse populaire Desjardins, the Red Cross, the Daughters of Isabelle and the Cercle des fermières
