Black History Month is a time to honour the culture and achievements of Black Canadians who, every day, continue to make remarkable contributions to Canadian life.

More than ever, we need to remind the world how essential co-operation is, and how crucial it is to make space for the voices and perspectives of people from the North, especially Indigenous women.

Life in the Arctic is shaped by the relationships that have bound Indigenous communities together for generations.
