State Visit to Trinidad and Tobago - Day 1
This year marks 50 years of bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as 50 years of independence for Trinidad and Tobago. The Governor General presented a 50th anniversary commemorative coin to the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Governor General laid a wreath to pay respects, on behalf of all Canadians, to the Canadian servicemen who paid the ultimate sacrifice, serving and protecting their country during the Second World War.
