Today, we learn your stories. And your stories are as unique as your contributions to a wide variety of different fields.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the accomplishments of women here in Canada and around the world. In every field and industry, women are contributing. They are innovators, champions, advocates, artists, entrepreneurs, public servants and more.

It’s wonderful to see representatives from so many different nations and peoples here with us today.

And so I am honoured that today, we get to share your stories, stories of amazing people.

I am honoured to be here in New Brunswick to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Canadians across the country are marking this important milestone. We all understand how important this moment was in our history.
