Meeting with Prime Minister of Romania
On June 15, 2016, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, met with His Excellency Dacian Ciolos, Prime Minister of Romania.

The meeting was held in the Large Drawing Room at Rideau Hall, the official residence and workplace of the governor general. The Governor General and the Prime Minister discussed the strong bilateral relations between Canada and Romania, in particular their shared membership in NATO and our close commercial ties
