2015 Canada Day Noon Show

The thousands of Canadians and visitors on Parliament Hill.

The Governor General inspected the guard of honour upon his arrival.

The 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Games Torch Relay was part of the show.

Now is the time to put plans in motion; to turn ideas into action; to act. Because the country we dream of won’t build itself. The country we dream of is created by millions of acts that add up to something greater than the sum of their parts."

The Governor General met with the artists following the show.

His Excellency also spoke with athletes such as Camille Bérubé, para-swimmer.

Her Excellency shook hands with people from the crowd gathered on Parliament Hill.

Jonas and the Massive Attractions performed on stage.

The Jerry Cans performed on stage.

Their Excellencies were joined by the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and the Honourable Shelley Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, as well as thousands of Canadians and visitors.

Their Excellencies attended the Canada Day Noon Show on Parliament Hill.

Ms. Cassidy Mann sung God Save the Queen followed by the National Anthem.

The opening number highlighted the 50th anniversary of the National Flag of Canada.

Anne-Marie Withenshaw and Jennifer Jones were the Masters of Ceremony during the show.
