Presentation of Letters of Credence
A presentation of letters of credence from two new ambassadors took place on May 5, 2014, at Rideau Hall. Letters of credence are the official documents by which new heads of diplomatic missions are presented by their head of State as their official representative.

In his remarks, the Govervor General said: "You have been chosen by your respective nations to represent the ideals and aims of your homeland in this country. I think you will find Canadians both welcoming and eager to work together across disciplines, sharing knowledge across borders."
