2012 Terry Fox Run
As patron of the Terry Fox Foundation, His Excellency participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the 2012 Terry Fox run, in Ottawa, alongside Dr. Victor Ling, President and Scientific Director, Terry Fox Research Institute (left) and Mr. Darrell Fox, brother of the late Terry Fox (right).

Upon his arrival Carleton University's Anniversary Park, the Governor General was greeted by Mr. Darrell Fox, brother of the late Terry Fox.

The Terry Fox Foundation maintains the vision and principles of Terry Fox while raising money for cancer research through the annual Terry Fox Run, National School Run Day and other fundraising initiatives.
