His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, attended the New Student Convocation at Carleton University on September 7, 2011. Dr. Roseann O'Reilly Runte, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University, introduced the Governor General to the 6,000 students in attendance.
