Imagine Canada Summit

Marcel Lauziere, President and CEO of Imagine Canada, said a few words. Imagine Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening charities and non-profits so that they can, in turn, better serve Canadians and their communities. It is their role to give a strong voice to issues and challenges, and to bring them to the attention of Canada’s key decision makers and influencers.

His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, delivered a keynote address on youth volunteerism at the National Summit for the Charitable and Nonprofit Sector 2011, in Ottawa, on November 29, 2011. Sector influencers and opinion-leaders from across the country attended the National Summit for the Charitable and Nonprofit Sector, from November 28 to 30, 2011. The National Summit was hosted by Imagine Canada in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada, Philanthropic Foundations Canada and United Way of Canada.
