His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada,was the guest speaker at the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s (CFI) Annual Public Meeting in Ottawa, on November 28, 2011. His Excellency highlighted the collaborative nature of innovation, and the importance of communities coming together to build a strong and prosperous Canada. He also discussed diversity as one of Canada’s great strengths, and how diverse ideas, experiences and abilities can spark creativity and new opportunities.
