As part of the “Can We Talk” series, the Governor General hosted a Youth Dialogue in St. John's on the role young people can play in improving their communit, to which the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador participated.

Premier Williams also spoke to the youth. The dialogue was the second leg of the Governor General’s national tour to celebrate the International Year of Youth with Canadians across the country by focusing on the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding.
