Presentation of the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For more than 25 years, Lionel and Lynda Mason, of Toronto, Ontario, have organized a bowling league called Woodchippers for persons with special needs. Among their many contributions to this cause, the Masons organize matches, manage the finances, host an annual tournament and banquet, and have even helped with the publication of a bowling manual for persons with special needs.
