Governor General attends a citizenship ceremony on July 1st
On July 1, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, participated in a citizenship ceremony at the Canada Aviation Museum. Judge Suzanne Pinel officially welcomed the Governor General and presided over the ceremony.

One hundred new Canadians from 40 countries received their Canadian citizenship on Canada Day. In honour of the Canadian centennial of powered flight, the ceremony took place at the Canada Aviation Museum
