Urban Art Discussion with Montreal Youth

As part of her national tour to engage young artists from disenfranchised neighbourhoods in a dialogue on how to use art to bring about change in their communities, the Governor General participated in her fourth community forum on youth and the urban arts at the Maison des jeunes de Côte-des-neiges. The discussion included approximately 80 young artists from Montreal Nord, Saint-Michel, Parc-Extension, Little Burgundy, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Côte-des-neiges, Rivière des prairies, and Pierrefonds, multilingual and multicultural hip hop group Nomadic Massive, as well as public officials.
