Governor General hosts Michener Awards ceremony honouring top public service journalists

OTTAWA, Ontario—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will present the 2023 Michener Awards for meritorious public service journalism, the 2024 Michener-Deacon Fellowship for Investigative Journalism and Michener-L. Richard O’Hagan Fellowship for Journalism Educational and Michener-Baxter awards during a ceremony at Rideau Hall.
