OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, has launched a new online platform called Caring Nation and we want to hear from you!
In just a few weeks, everything changed. Canadians across the country have adapted to this new reality, showing compassion, solidarity and ingenuity and we want to know how you are doing.
Please take a moment to tell us about an act of kindness you have witnessed, the care provided to you by a health professional, how you are staying connected to family and friends, or how you are spending your time at home.
Someday, we will look back on these challenging times and realize that, by coming together, we emerged stronger as a nation. The stories you share will help create a record of how Canadians have faced adversity. We may not choose when hardship hits, but we can choose how we respond to it.
To submit a message and a photo visit www.gg.ca/Caring-Nation.
Submissions may be considered for more formal recognition through the Canadian Honours system. For more information, visit www.gg.ca/en/honours/nominate-someone.
