Since 2008, Serge Côté has volunteered with the Civil Emergency Response Service of Quebec, a not-for-profit organization that supports local Drummondville emergency agencies. He is instrumental in training all new volunteers in emergency preparedness and has implemented many safety practices to ensure the security of his community.
