Life-long volunteer James Gilmore was elected as the youngest president of the Barrie Rotary Club in 1953, and is an active participant in the enhancement of the music program at his church. Most recently, he served on the board of the Muskoka Ratepayers Association, liaising with government and promoting multiple environmental causes in his community.
