Throughout Andrew Yap's teaching career, he has volunteer-coached multiple sports teams, both at his school and Brock University. He has also volunteered for several years for the Rankin Cancer Run by fundraising through school events and organizing the water station at the halfway point for the 12,000 participants on the day of the event.
